CASHMERE CARE
The CoSTANZA recommodations to maintain your cashmere
My styles are made from high-quality cashmere yarns. To keep them intact year after year, it suits to bring particular attention to them. They will love it.
Cashmere loves water: the more you wash your sweater, the better it will be.
Iron very gently with stream and on the wrong side if necessary.
For optimal washing, put your sweater inside out, use a cold cycle and do not tumble dry.
Pilling is a natural phenomenon due to an excess of material. Add vinegar to the rinse water and use an anti-pilling comb if necessary.
Traditional detergents are not suitable for cashmere. They're composition may dim it's color/shine. If needed, use a special wool detergant containing no bleaching or enzimes.
To ward off moths use cedar blocks which are natural repellent and diffuse a delicious woody scent.
Do not use a tumple dryer or dry your cashmere on a radioater. These methods would brun the fibers and make the cashmere lose its shine. The water would also weight it down and deform it.
